Magenta prints unevenly QMDI Pro

On heavy coverage, the magenta prints unevenly in alternating heavier and lighter areas. We've checked out the form rollers and a Heidelberg tech shimed the rollers for us, but the problem persists.

Again this is only in the magenta unit.

Any thoughts appreciated

The uneven coverage extends across sheet in the 13" direction. Uneven laser imaging would not cause this problem.

have you burned a 60% screen on the whole plate to see if its a plate issue.

how wide are the different shaded areas. does it correspond to a roller circumference.

have you tried swapping out rollers from one unit to another. say the yellow unit

have you changed blankets.

I would burn the test plate first its the quickest test.
