Topaz 2 scanner

I have a problem with my scanner. Each time my scanner initializes, it comes up with an error message that says `Transperency lamp defective, choose special scanner function. After several off and on it come up. Can somebody tell me what is wrong. Thanks.

Sounds like your bulbs are dieing. Special scanner function walks you through how to change bulbs if i'm not mistaken.
