Running Prinect on a Windows 7 box

Hey, all.

I have a prepress PC workstation that I need to upgrade, and Heidelberg's official line is that Prepress Manager and Signa will not be compatible with Windows 7 until an end-of-year update is available. Unofficially, they say that it may or may not work in Windows XP compatibility mode in Windows 7.

Have any of you tried this, and what were the results?

I've been running Signa 4.5 on Windows 7 Pro x64 for several months now with no serious problems thus far. I don't have Pre-Press Manager so I can't comment on that.

I was just working with someone who's running Meta and Signa on a Windows Server 2008 R2 box. Didn't seem to be a problem.
