Signasetter Pro Imaging Issue

I have an old Signasetter Pro and about once a year it goes crazy (see attachment). The imaged film looks as if it is running ... I can't put it in words ... you have to see the attachment. I usually shutdown the imagesetter and leave it over night and the next morning it runs fine .... any ideas?
