    Default Thermochromatic inks

Anyone printing with these? What's your experience been?

What is your shelf life in the pressroom, and what is the anticipated shelf life of the final printed product? Specifically pressure sensitive labels. If the labels sit around after being printed for say, 6-9 months before they are used in a packaging operation - does the label still have the properties of a "fresh" printed piece?

Double hits - or single pass is suitable to lay down enough ink?

Thanks in advance for your input.

    Vee:
I think the shelf life is pretty good if they can be used on checks, money orders, and tamper evident prescription pads. I've seen a single hit work well on a Komori L628. Might depend on the color contrast you need on the carrier sheet.
