Default Low odor uv inks & coating

Do these exist? I have a client that can't stand the smell of UV. yet we print a menu for them that is on plastic. We are trying our best to see what is out there. If anyone has info on such product it would be really appreciated. I need a lead on UV inks & gloss UV coating.

    Thanks,

    Default Low odour UV

If you are printing UV offset the T&K Toka range is very good for low odour. The new MWP range has very low odour and along with the FV-2 coating you should get a better result. As with most UV inks the lower adhesion properties in the ink the less odour it tends to have - you may need to prime the substrate first. Japanese inks tended to have a reputation for strong odour in the past but this doesn't seem to be the case these days. The newer Benzophenone free UV inks tend to have less odour. If you are printing with Flexo most manufacture's have low odour series. Not sure where you are, but you can find a distributor on T&K Toka's website T&K TOKA Corporation

    Good luck

For a uv wash I would try this UV, Co-Cure & EB Ink Manual Wash BestChem+Supply. We have been using it on our UV coater.
