The Barco MEGASETTER is a highthroughput imagesetter for large film sizes: 1612 x 1200 mm - 63.5" x 47.2". The MEGASETTER is a technical marvel, capable of outputting films at a high resolution and with a very high accuracy and repeatability.
Barco’s CLASSIC SCREENS provide the necessary high quality dot shapes and screen angles for all these applications.
Outstanding speed at high resolutions
The MEGASETTER is based on the proven technology of all Barco's imagesetters: an external drum revolving at high speed with an optics carriage hovering on air bearings over a solid granite bed driven by an integral linear DC-motor.
Optics 600 Q, resolutions 2000, 2540 and 4000 ppi for highest image quality
