Preps Ganging v5.3.3 does not work on x64 Windows 7

Hi, this is my first post here seeking for some help and knowledge.

I 've just Installed preps 5.3.3 by downloading the full install package from Kodak
on an i7 PC with windows 7 x64 Business.

While the setup is starting, on the preparing setup screen, it gives me the following error:
String OBJ_STATUS_INSTALLER_MISSING_DESC was not found in string table

after hitting OK the setup continues and everything seems to work fine.
I attach dongle --> start preps --> enter license info and still everything seems to work fine.

The problem arises when i try to start ganging where it just does not want to start.
Every time I double click the ganging icon the program just crashes at the very start of it.

maybe it has to do with directx, opengl or graphic's card drivers or .NET version. (mine is an ATI HD 5800).
Does anybody has that kind of information? what ganging tries to see on the first milliseconds and it crashes?

I have everything up to date, even installed all directx and .NET v1,v2,v3,v3.5 but with no luck plz heeeelp
