Lotem 800v2 error in xy centering
Hi
if i give xy in harware iam facing the below mentioned error:
error 1:
DC Motor HP messing or Disconnected.
The task centering motor Go HP detector failed.
The task xy initialize of loading system failed
if xy works sometime then iam facing the below mentioned error
error 2
Centering motor task didnot end
The task centering motor go pos failed.
The task load from casette to punch entry loading system failed.
The task load from punch entry to drum entry loading system failed.
We tried changing the hp sensor on left hand side near centering motor. ( we changed the belt last week and adjusted it last week this is fyi its working fine past 1 week)
Under hardware/loading system system/centering system/ centering motor - if we give position or distance its not working if we give HP Det we are getting the below mentioned error.
Under centering motor / centering motor home position detector status is default on
Under centering motor / centering motor plate short detector status default off.
We adjusted those two bars manually and hold it then centering motor plate short detector status default on and if we release our manual hold then it shows off.
Under detectors we found some of the status off & On
Like Bar flage 1 detector - off
Bypass casette line detector - on
bypass casette outside detctor - on
bypass lock hp detector - on
dc tray button detector - off
paper/metal det - on
plate in punch short detec - off
xy vaccumok detec - off
xy vaccum power on dtectective - off
regards

Just an idea: try and measure from one of the pins to earth. Depending on a Local2 or Local3 board you should get different readings.
Measure between the pins.....
measure between one pin and earth.......
measure between the other pin and earth......
Let mem know what the results are,
By the way , have you tried and swapped between your Local boards?

i have not tried swapping the local boards; i couldnt understand the point earth... to pin could u make it clear

Kala,
Use a DVM and measure DC voltage between one of the Centering pins ( i.e. LHS one)and Erath
Measure between the the 2 Pins
Measure between the other Pin ( RHS one ) and Earh.
The centering mechanism works othe Pins coming together and measuring a Short circuit so the voltage will drop to Zero between the pins for a short time.
Have a go.

let me try this and get back to u; is it necessity to interchange the local boards if yes then where its located above laser box there are more connectors which one is local board if i interchange hope it wont shows any additional error... kindly confirm

I do not know which configuration you have but you will find one local board above the L Box ( where the laser diodes are).
The other one can be at the other end. i.e. if you open the RHS door and pannel you will see the Local box OR
It could be behind the Upper rear pannel or Lower rear pannel.
Make sure that you powered down the Lotem when you are going to swap the Locals.

Hi Pach
pls find the reply..
we interchanged the local boards no difference.,
before interchanging the readings as below :
lhs to earth - 8.90
rhs to earth - 4.42
between the pins - 4.53
after interchanging
lhs to earth - 9.03
rhs to earth - 4.46
between the pins - 4.56
still the problem exists we changed the home detector sensor from y to centering and now the error shifts to y motor if we click xy it shows the error dc motor hp detector messed up or disconnected. the task y motor go hp detector failed. the task xy initialise of loading system failed. kindly advise what to do next??/

Kala,
YOu must have Local 2 boards and your measurements are OK. I hope that you did not damage the HP detector when you moved it from the Y motor. Try and use Diag to run the Y motor and Centering motor and see what you get. Also run Diag on the Local boards.

Hi patch
so far past 4 years we never used diag ( 4 year before we faced a couple of boards problem when we start diag) so scared to do diag...
Next regarding detector (sensor) we tried remove few sensors (detectors) from dolev 800v home and end sensors but nothing different ...
according to my knowlegde iam suspecting problem from y motor side ... if i remove manually its rotating slowly checked the power getting 24v according to 24 v it has to rotate fast but sofar its rotating slow..
Kindly answer my below questions can wee swap x motor instead of y motor to check or both are different power kindly confirm..
1. we have taken sensor from our scitex dolev 800v imagesetter - whether it will support or not...
2. we tried both home and end position sensors - no change in error part
3. whether u need any particular sensor (home or end ) for x / y & centering...
regards

KALA,
What I do not understand that how come you have a problem with the X/Y when originaly the Centering system was problematic? What is the latest with this?
The X and Y motors are the same but I am not sure about the brackets. You can vary the speed of these motors in the motors dialogue under Hardware/ Loading system etc. Some of the detectors are similar to the D800s.
