The X and Y motors are the same but I am not sure about the brackets. You can vary the speed of these motors in the motors dialogue under Hardware/ Loading system etc. Some of the detectors are similar to the D800s.
    Hi Patch

    Sorry for my late reply...

rightnow we found that y motor is the problem and iam just awaiting for the spare to confirm...

    Kala,

Does this mean that your centering assy is working OK now? What was the problem with this?
As far as spares go I am afraid I can not help you but I will ask arround to see if i can find a supplier.
To repair a DDB board you need special testing equipment and software as it is a VERY complex board.

    Hi Pach

Gud afternoon. Still my lotem is not working.

Today we changed the new y dc motor and again i faced the same error.. Kindly advise me the below questions.

    1. Left Local controls both centering + X motor

Under hardware tree / centering motor if i give home position command the centering motor works and moved to home position without any error
but if i give end position command the motor rotates on the same direction but centering is not moving and it shows centering error...

    2. Right Local controls Y motor

if i give xy command error comes in centering side

Now iam swapping the left local into right and right local into left,

Under Harware Tree / centering motor motor if i give home position the centering motor works and moved to home position without any error
but if i give end position command the motor rotates on the opposite direction and the centering is move slowly no error.
( hope it has to work fast or same as home position works)

If i give xy command error comes in y side.

Left Local and Right Local have similar function or different ; if similar means why the end position works slowly in centering motor when we swaps...

Next there are 7 connections like J1/J2/J3 to J7 what is the function of each and which connectors control x / y and centering in both cards..

Kindly note that if i swap the boards y motor is getting overheated... might be this is the reason y motor was down last time...

so we swap the boards to default state now no overheat from y motor side.

    Awaiting for ur reply.

    regards
    kala

""Under Harware Tree / centering motor motor if i give home position the centering motor works and moved to home position without any error

Please state again if your XY bar is working fine or not (X. Y go HP and position ok)

For Centering system, it needs to be calibrated first in order to work:
End position means closing the circuit to through a plate (contact between pins and plate edge). The speed is the one you enter in the control window.

If I understand well the pins are moving both ways.
Send the centering system to HP and note the value that shows in the bottom left of the window.
Measure the plate width exactly (with a measuring tape), do a load "from cassette to punch entry"
With a speed of 10mm/sec, send the centering motor to end position and see if the pins are going all the way to the edge of the plate. If they don't, try a larger plate size first.
If they still stop short, reply here with all the values listed under centering motor properties or in regedit under:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Scitex\Projects\LOTEM8 00V\IO OBJECTS\NEW LOCAL \DC MOTORS\Centering Motor]

If it touches the plate and stops, check again the value in the bottom right of the window.
Reply here with the HP value, exact plate size, end value and the Virtual HP APP value from the centering system properties.

    Kala,

If you changed the TSP and the cable it looks like the DDB board. Try and load the firmware onto it by going to Registry/ Lotem/etc......DDB board and change the Force download to 1 and restart the Lotem . Just an idea as it might not help. Did you try and switch off like the last 24 diodes and plot like that?
