    Default Front End Team Coordinator at Red Sun Press in Boston, MA

    Red Sun Press is a cooperatively-run printing and design company in Boston, MA. We provide offset and digital printing as well as full bindery services for a growing customer base of non-profit organizations, socially responsible businesses and government agencies.

    Objective: Coordinate the work of the Front End Team, including the outside sales rep and the Customer Service Representatives, and fulfill CSR duties

    Duties include:

    Coordination
    Coordinate the work of the CSR(s)—including maintaining estimate log and assigning customers to CSR team
    Work with Outside Sales Rep to develop sales and marketing strategy and goals
    Monitor and evaluate work of outside Sales Rep and CSR(s)
    Analyze sales, write sales reports and report to Board
    Work with Business manager on budget and sales goals
    Work with business manager and front end team on pricing
    Write large RFP’s
    Produce customer satisfaction and feedback tools

    Customer Interaction
    Answer phone, email, fax and snail mail inquiries and requests for estimates
    Handle walk-ins
    Provide written quotes for customers
    Includes job planning with production staff and outside vendors
    Take all information pertaining to job orders
    Assist customers in planning and preparing jobs
    Communicate with customers while job is in shop

    Inside sales
    File all quotations and follow up on quotations
    Call old customers to generate expanded sales
    Enter new customer information to customer database

    Act as bridge between customers and production
    Bring in jobs and fill out job tickets (offset and digital)
    Check files submitted for orders
    Check to make sure mailing lists are received for mailing components
    Check proofs before they go out and submit instructions to production when proofs are returned
    Make sure shipping info is complete and follow up when jobs are complete
    Preschedule work with scheduler
    Review job tickets before billing

    Maintain Front Office
    Maintain sample files, sample rack and paper books

    Skills Required
    Management and Supervision experience
    Demonstrated analytical skills
    Demonstrated writing ability
    Excellent customer service and people skills
    Good math skills
    Familiarity with design software
    Working knowledge of Microsoft office products
    Excellent ability to multitask and work in a fast paced office environment
    Excellent attention to detail
    Organizational skills
    Commitment to mission of Red Sun Press


    Skills preferred
    Previous experience in graphic arts customer service
    Knowledge of offset and digital printing
