    Default Sales Representative at D&R Products, Inc. in Fort Collins, Colorado

    D&R Products, Inc., a leading international distributor of original and aftermarket parts and supplies for use in Xerox, OCE, IBM, HP and other high-speed digital production and wide format printing equipment has an immediate opening for a qualified Inside Sales Representative. This commission based Sales position is ideal for an ambitious, self-motivated person who aspires to work in a fast paced and team oriented environment.

    Most customer contact is via telephone and e-mail. Some some travel for trade shows and key account visits is also required.

    D&R Products, located in Fort Collins, Colorado, is a subsidiary of Reprographic Technology International. Products are sold into more than 75 countries.

    DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintain current business and develop new business within existing customer list
    • Prospect – Warm and cold call to attract new business and contact new customers
    • Draft business proposals and present them to customers
    • Negotiate pricing based on spending levels
    • Sell value propositions instead of price
    • Utilize internal Purchasing, Engineering and Finance resources to present solutions to customers
    • Represent D&R Products in a professional manner at all times
    • Participate in targeted sales efforts and associated reporting
    • Minimal travel to trade shows and customer visits

    CORE COMPETENCIES / SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Minimum 3 years Sales experience required
    • Proven track record of prospecting and closing success
    • No “thin skin” – must be able to handle objections
    • Ability to reach decision makers
    • Plan & use time effectively and set priorities
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
    • Spanish speaking and writing skills a potential plus
    • Printing industry experience preferred
    • Experience selling to the Display Grpahics sector a strong plus
    • Excellent presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently but within guidelines
    • Effective Listening & Questioning
    • Strong analytical skills a plus
    • Ability to close sales and gain commitments
    • Above average writing, composition, and math skills
    • Comfortable discussing money
