Technical Sales Specialist at Videk in Ohio

Videk, a leading machine vision manufacturer and service provider, is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist for the Central United States including the Ohio region to support our customers in the Printing and Mailing Industry. This position requires up to 60% travel. This position is a home-based position preferably in Columbus, OH.

Job responsibilities include:

· Support and develop existing and new accounts.
· Configure vision systems and describe their operation.
· Pre-sales solutions architecting through analysis of customer requirements.
· Post installation customer care and support
· Provide excellent customer service during and after the sales process.
· Effectively communicate all field activities through reporting.

This position focuses on Ohio and surrounding Central U.S. reporting to the VP of Business Services. Salary to be commensurate with experience and education. Please review the travel requirements above prior to applying for this position.

Required Qualifications:

· AAS or BS in Engineering or Technology
· Thorough knowledge of computer systems and hardware
· Field service and/or Sales Engineering experience
· Excellent phone and writing skills
· Flexibility to travel on short notice
