    Default Digital Printing Solutions - Partner Manager at Hewlett-Packard in Corvallis, Oregon

    This is not a remote position, it's an on site role in Corvallis, OR

    The position is an Expert level job working in the Inkjet Highspeed Production Solutions (IHPS) Division. The Division produces a commercial high speed digital printing press (T300) and the Solutions around it. Work with a great team creating disruptive HP products in the digital printing market. Be part of the Solutions Team and work with world-class, top tier partners in Pre-press Software and Digital Web Finishing Equipment. Lead the IHPS Partner Program coordinated within the overall HP Graphics Solutions Business (GSB). Implement Workflow Initiatives to improve the productivity and satisfaction of our customers. Work with Partners to create innovative Solutions. Create informative demonstrations at worldwide tradeshows and events. Negotiate Partner Agreements and Contracts. Manage the Partners including quarterly business reviews.

    Leadership consists of:

    Drive the strategic direction of partner engagement leading to strong industry alliances.
    - Represent the division in the Business Unit Partner Program. Coordinate with other divisions to provide a unified program with one message to our partners and thus to our customers. Drive initiatives through this Program to enhance our customer offerings.
    - Represent the organization to external customers/clients.
    - Work with Partners to expand or customize their offerings to maximize productivity for the customer.
    - Lead meetings with marketing, sales, and engineering to track, prioritize, and communicate the status of partners.
    Tradeshow and Event responsibilities:
    - Coordinate demonstrations of current activities between the Division and the Partners.
    - Coordinate with Division resources to print all material for tradeshows and event.
    - Manage the presence of Partners in the HP Booth
    Workflow Management
    - Implement Workflow initiatives to improve productivity of our customers.
    - Implement the Workflow strategy
    - Deliver technical subject matter expertise and documentation to differentiate & drive our solutions in deals and customer satisfaction situations.
    As an expert on the team
    Lead and/or provide expertise to functional project teams and participate in cross functional initiatives. Provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Act as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Present to high-level managers on current activities.

    Qualifications

    Strong business orientation.
    Demonstrated ability to manage Partners.
    Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
    Excellent negotiation skills.
    Background in working with and writing contracts
    While not a technical position, a good familiarity with software and software development is required.
    While not a technical position, a good familiarity or demonstrated ability to learn about general mechanical finishing equipment is required.
    Familiarity with Digital Commercial Printing is a plus for this position.
    Excellent organization skills and experienced using SW tools to track projects.

    Education and Experience Required:
    Experience working with and managing Partners.
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business and a minimum of 7 plus years related experience.
    MBA is a plus
