We have a current opening for an Interactive Production Specialist to work at our headquarter location in Wood Dale, IL. This self-motivated individual will have the primary responsibility for creating, administering, and testing WEB-TO-PRINT (WTP) templates, associated images, and meta-data for creating and programming variable-data print production, implementing, testing and supporting internet-based tools, maintaining websites and adding enhancements. The incumbent will possess a strong working knowledge and understanding of web based programming languages, page layout applications and data management.

Additional responsibilities include:
• Participating on the core customer implementation team; responsible for end-user experience.
• Resolve all end-user issues; communicates through standard customer support process
• Creates layouts and programs for variable print production
• Update and edit corporate and production websites
• Assist with the development and demonstration websites and templates for sales presentations
• Monitor, manage, and communicate with developers on defects
• Execute preventative maintenance programs for the hardware and software used within the department

The successful individual will have a strong working knowledge of Page Flex, Web-To-Print (WTP), Variable-Data-Print (VDP),Template Building, Doc Actions, and Site Skinning, Web (including HTML, XML, VB), and Prepress (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and In-Design). It is necessary for the self-motivated incumbent to be a great communicator with ability to generate new ideas, take corrective action, and suggest improvements, as well as a minimum of three years of related business experience
