Senior Account Executive at RPI in Seattle, WA
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for delivering strategic and day-to-day management of the personalized printed products category for top-tier retail partners. The selected candidate will manage creative merchandising, marketing and promotional programs with our partners to drive revenue growth, and work closely with our product development and marketing teams to expand and optimize our retail platform (web and in-store). In addition, you will hold key relationships and function as the primary service and support contact for large retail partners.
This is a highly visible position that requires a combination of sales, category, and account management experience within the retail, print and/or the make-on-demand market. The successful candidate will be a creative, entrepreneurial and self motivated person who has a solid track record of delivering innovative services in a high growth environment. S/he will be a strong, apolitical leader who can prioritize well and communicate a compelling strategy and plan clearly at all levels inside and outside the organization.
Responsibilities:
■Set high performance standards to provide industry leading, high quality services to our partners.
■Build partner respect and satisfaction by driving account plans that meet or exceed their strategic objectives.
■Measure and analyze category performance and develop strategies to increase sales and profits as well as drive continuous improvement within partner accounts.
■Track and communicate competitive factors, trends, issues and opportunities at regional and national levels.
■Champion the category review process and partner dashboard for key partner accounts.
■Develop and execute partner integration plans for new product introductions / launches.
■In conjunction with marketing and product management, collect/develop and analyze sales reports and market data from internal sources, syndicated data and partner POS in order to identify key issues, trends, opportunities and market share growth / decline for use in marketing and sales planning purposes.
■Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by management(internal and external).
■Coordinate resources to maximize the relationship and revenue opportunities.
Qualifications:
■BA in Business or equivalent
■5 - 7 years experience within the retail or print industry in strategic account management
■Highly analytical with the ability to develop strategic insights across multiple data sources and translate insights into actionable plans and presentations.
■Ability to develop and cultivate relationships with key partners.
■Experience in negotiations with customers at mid, senior and executive levels.
■Effective presentation, communication and influencing skills.
■Meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to complete multiple, competing
priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision
■Sales, project management, or marketing experience a plus
■Proficient in Microsoft Office
■Sense of humor and self directed is a must.
Travel Requirements – 25 – 30%
