Default die making for foil stamping

Was wondering if there is anyone with experience with magnesium acid etching, to make dies for foil stamping?

If you are looking for a vendor, I suggest going with copper instead. Holds heat better, more durable and won't smash easily when your operator jams his press. Metal Magic and Universal's prices are less than our local magnesium guys.
Embossing------- go with magnesium. Softer bevel(edges) will help prevent paper from cutting through.
