We have an IMMEDIATE OPENING for a prepress artist. We are located in Philadelphia, PA

PRE-PRODUCTION GRAPHIC ARTIST
Philadelphia based screen & digital printing company seeks a production artist for a
full time position. Candidate will work in-house. This is not a design position.
Command of Mac based OS and graphic programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, & Quark,
and more) a must.
This position requires a detailed individual to take customer & in-house art files and create
compatible digital & screen printing layouts ready to print. Individual will be responsible for,
but not limited to, layout, color correction, font manipulation, color separations, trapping files
(Esko Power Trapper), ripping files with EFI Fiery and Harlequinn rip software.
Must possess excellent technical skills with print production knowledge. Must also have
extreme attention to detail; ability to work well under tight deadlines and handle multiple
priorities and projects.
Education / Experience
3+ years art production / prepress experience with a color house or commercial
printer. College or Technical degree preferred.
