    Default heidelberg calling

boy I have to hand it to heidelberg. they are really hustling to sell stuff. I have seen the equipment sales guy twice and the consumable/prepress guy 4 times in the last year. never had anyone stop by in the previous 30 years. plus they sent someone in to help with the consumables switch over.

then today I get a call for a survey. what kind of digital propuction do I have. they are thinking about re entering the digital market. I think they should just by out canon.

Of course, if they lowered their prices just a wee bit, then maybe they wouldn't need to be paying so many salesmen. I hope Heidelberg survives the current economic situation.

I hope they survive as well. fight to the bottom pricing doesnt alway work well for the long term, but it seems to be where everybody is existing right now.
