Default Payday for sales reps. and Value Added Commissions

The industry best practice is to pay sales reps a percentage of the estimated or planned value added. Example:

    $6,000 Materials/buyouts cost
    $10,000 All Inclusive cost
    ---------------------
    $16,000 Total cost
    $3,200 Markup (20%)
    ---------------------
    $19,200 Sell price

    $13,200 Value added($19,200 - $6,000)
$1,056 Commission (8% on value added)

    "$3,200 Markup (10%)"?

This figure is not 10% of any of the other figures in your post, nor of any obvious combination of them. if you are going to use dollar amounts and percentages in your post, please take the trouble of checking your math before you post.
