    Default Prepress Panther Plus imagesetter

    Ours developed the following, starts up fine, by the time the Rip is started up, the imagesetter shuts down, completely flat. After 1 hour about, we can start it up again, same thing. Guts tell me there is a capacitor on the Board giving up. Anybody still supporting these machines.

    Did you try to disconnect the SCSI cable from the RIP computer and startup the Panther alone?

    Yes, nothing, we traced the problem to a faulty on off switch on the imagesetter
