Maybe is it just me being an old fart with a false memory but I seem to dimly remember that in PS there was an option to generate your own dot-form, like I said this was yonks ago, now I have a niggling little problem where a special dot-form could help.
Anybody know where it went?

That is actually how I solved the problem in the end, thanks again Gordo.
Still, just out of nostalgic interest it would be nice to find out why it is no longer there, it was a clever little bit of kit after all.
