Polar Mohr 92CS cutter

We have an old Polar Mohr Standard 92CS. I converted the old periscope positioning indicator to a DRO (digital read out) as the linear glass scale was broken when the unit was moved. I am still looking for ways to convert it to an automatic positioning unit, where you can just dial in the number and the back stop will automatically move to that position. Any suggestion and feedback will be greatly appreciated. I am also looking for manual for this unit.

I have used 5 systems from 3 different companies. I do not remember the other 2 companies but the one that impressed me most were the Microcut systems. I have used Junior, Basic, and Plus. You have to decide what you want it to do. You can get a system to just offer position all the way up to a nice memory with air bed control. What I did not like is if a proximity switch gets out of kilter then the system I saw this happen on did not recognize it. But a lot will depend on the condition of your lead screw. What impressed me the most was the company. A little rugged the few times I talked to them but let there be no doubt they knew these systems and that is very rare these days. The other thing is if you have to calibrate it they have a sequence in the system that makes it very user friendly.
