    Default automatic digital paper cutter

I am considering upgrading my Triumph 4700 manual paper cutter with an automatic digital paper cutter like the Triumph 6550. Problem is, I found a website Paper Cutter, Paper Trimmer, Paper Cutting Machine, Rotary Trimmer, Electric Paper Cutter, Guillotine Paper Trimmer, Foam Board Trimmer, Gatorboard Cutter that has a cutter that looks and specs identically to the Triumph but at half the price! It's called QCM 9950A. My wallet says "Yes!" but my gut says "No!" Does anyone have any experience with this QCM cutter? Or any other recommendations, other than, "You get what you pay for"? I understand that.

Keith, take a look at Challenge, they make a great small cutter, Titan 200 series. If I recall it runs about $13K with the safety light vs the safety cover, and is programmable. I have an older Challenge 193, must be 30 years old that is just now getting to the point of replacement. I wouldn't hesitate to get another one! On the plus side they are made in Michigan, so you know parts and support are going to be easy to come buy.
