Default UV coating difference Ricoh C900/C901

We currently use have an inline UV coater hooked up to our Ricoh c900. We coat on 100 lb coated cover stock. We are looking at a C901, which is oil-less and has a wax based toner. Will we have to switch to a different kind of uv coating, does anyone have experience with this? Will it adhere the same?

Is your coater a tech lighting box? If so, I believe you will be fine. That said, you should just call the uv coater manufacturer.

It is the Tech Lighting Xtracoat, 18" model. Not sure what you mean by TecLighting "box"?

NL Printer, Your UV coater will work just as good with both the C900 and the 901. The only think to keep in mind is that you are using the Tec Coat 1227. If you have any questions please email me at info@teclighting.com and i will respond immediately.
