PVC sheet thickness spec

Hi,

In this part of world, we specify the thinkness of the PVC film (used for window in a corton box) in microns. My US based client has specified the thickness in 'points' which I am not familier. Can this forum throw some light on this?

My understanding is one point equals to 25 microns or 0.025mm. Am I correct on this?
