CS4 & 10.6.2 Snow Leopard
I have a problem with Indesign CS4 when I start Indesign it runs until I start a new document or open a existing document I get a "not responding" and have to force quit, anybody have solution to fix this?
The other apps. with CS4 seem to be working fine.

I have found that the CS4 package is very picky about the Fonts it needs to use to launch. Most times it doesn't get past the splash screen if they are missing.
Make sure all the Adobe fonts it came with are installed and active. Also make sure that you occasionally clean out your system font folder if you are activating others during the day like I do. Some fonts override Adobe's install package fonts. I use Linotype's FontExplorer X and it has a great tool built-in that will clean out your system font folder for you and reboots immediately afterwards.
I have been on the horn with Adobe Tech Support and had the same problem with CS3 already.
