Question Parker Graphics Print Down Frame

We inherited an Overhead Parker print down frame that has a burnt out ignitor. We can't seem to find any wiring diagrams anywhere, if anyone has a wiring diagram for this, please help.

    Thank you.

Are you sure its burnt out, I remember a quick flick of the finger to the ignitor every six months would solve that issue.

Smile Parker print down frame problem solved

Hi, i would not try that with the machine on as it would be highly dangerous. Check your lamp with the machine turned off. Parker ignitor latest version puts out approx 20kv.

    We had an Agfa/Theimer PDF.
Just a gentle flick, on Agfa's advice, and it worked perfect, in fact as I remember we only had to do this once or twice in its 10 year history, so it wasn't a regular issue.

But well advised to not have it turned on, something Agfa didn't advice us on.

Hi not sure which unit you have or had but theimer frame usually have a seperate ignitor circuit and tricks learnt over the years, is to stroke the lamp with a bit of polysyrene. Theimer use a transformer to have a high voltage approx 800v and a oscilating circuit to start the lamp.
