Default Need Help with Konika Minolta Bizhub c6500

    Hi

Been printing items on new Konika Minolta Bizhub c6500.... and latest project is using only 2 colors... PMS and black... the machine seem to print out the PMS color just fine, however, the black/grayscale has a slight tint of magenta, and sometimes cyan, sometimes yellow.... any ideas as to how to make it print true grayscale/black? the images are in grayscale... any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    what RIP do you have
If Fiery - try expert colour setting and changing cmyk setting to either Quick or Use source GCR
If Creo - make sure that you're not using any UCR/GCR settings

    Hi David

Thank you for your response... if you mean the image mode, they were all converted to grayscale in Photoshop...

You'll find your answer in the Fiery Command Workstation software. In the color management settings, you'll have options on how to handle black.
