Default Does anyone know of software that can do this?...

I'm sure something must exist, but i want to put a PDF into some software, and enter in the price per litre for example i pay for my solent ink, and it punts out a cost for printing, rough guide to the amount of ink used.

As i'm typing it i'm thinking theres probably a lot more to it.

If anyone knows of anything i'd be v grateful

    Regards

    Tim

Does it have to be a PDF? I'm not aware of any programming interface for PDF documents that will do as you suggest.

Excel (or Numbers on the Mac) would make this very easy. If that's a route you decide to take, I can help.

I think APFill will do what you require.

In PDF Forms you can create custom javascripts to do the kind of thing that you're requiring. My smart-ass answer is to find a teenager and get it done that way.
