AGFA Accuset 1500w Plus
Hello!
I recently purchased an AGFA 1500w plus imagesetter. I'm new to all this, and I was wondering how I can determine whether or not this unit is equipped with an internal RIP? It came with an interface card called "AGFA-III Ver 5.0 COMPOSE", a secure USB drive for running some software I think, and the imagesetter itself.
I know some of the AGFA imagesetters are equipped with an internal RIP. How do I determine if this one is?
Thanks!

Remove back cover secured with one screw and look inside.
If you will find the second board inside, smaller than Accuset Imbedded Engine Controller (IEC), and some hard-drive - you have an internal RIP (STAR 400 or 200), but I think you did not take from pre-owner a PC with SW RIP
Compose RIP

Accuset 1500 W Plus is a newer Accuset, and none of them had an internal RIP.
