JDF Writer Application

Hi all,

Is there an application that would ask questions to which we would type in or select answers from dropdowns and then write out a properly formatted JDF file for import into a prepress system or imposition program - like Prinergy or Preps?

alternatively, is there such a thing as a JDF writer besides a text editor?
