Has anyone noticed state/goverment work requiring printers to be G7 certified. Seems as though some goverment offices are moving in that direction.

We saw a sharp increase in G7 certification requests in mid-2008 due to GPO requirements. It was comical at the time, as the contracts still required film-based prepress workflows in-house.
