Post Ramage Clients Says "Version 10.4 instead of 10.5

Our server went down over the weekend and when we brought it back up, all of the clients
are saying "The version of Rampage Systems on server volume(10.4) is lower than the allowed version of this software (10.5). But we have version 10.5.0b10 installed. Anyone else experience this problem or have any ideas how to correct it?

Are all of your Rampage boxes on the same version and build? Not the clients, but the actual boxes. The message is referring to a box (Rip, Shooter, etc) that is showing up as an older version. This usually happens when a old box has been replaced with a new one and the dongle has changed. Go to your volume where Rampage stores its pref file. Inside of the preference folder there is another folder that says "Boxes". Those are the boxes Rampage thinks are being used. Confirm that they are correct and you have a dongle ID that matches each folder. If you have any extra ones that do not correspond to a box those can be removed. That should take care of the issue, unless you truly do have a couple of different versions running.

Thanks Mac,
I think Terry is still a sleep in a puddle of his own drool on his desk. ;^)

We had re purposed one of the old rampage boxes as a transfer machine for our cip3 data for the press's and someone had accidentally tried to launch the old shooter software on it, causing the problem.
