    Default Heavy Vector files

Any tricks to heavy vector files thru the rip?
Indd CS2 - I'm updating links and it has been crashing - don't know if anyone has an opinion on that.
Once I get the PDF made, running thru TF 3.12; there only 11 to 35 megs but are heavy pdfs placed in Indd,
I think they made pdfs out of Illy.
Any way to do anything in pitstop or anywhere else to make them least complicated?
We were running at 12% just got it up to about 40%.
    thanks

If you've got the Illustrator vector files try simplifying the paths from the "object/path/simplify. This should take some of the vector points out of the file.
I've had some success with this in the past..
