Default Looking at a used Platerite 4100 System

    Hi all,

We have the oppotuntiy to aquire A screen platerite 4100 with a kodak sword processor and Screen TF running on the Rip(Not sure what version I'll find out tomorrow).

The size and speed of the system is fine (Our largest press is 19x25)

Assuming the techs who check it out give us an ok would you consider this a worthwhile transition from the following environment.

Primarily spot color shop with some 4 color all run on 2 color presses.
Run lengths well under 100k and rarely exceeding 50K.

Smallest press plate is roughly 12x18.

I have had a PlateRite 4300 for three years now. 80,000 plus plates. Preventative Maintenance only. TrueFlow is an excellent rip.

We had a 4100 for a few years. Unit performed wonderfully. Small footprint, simple design, reliable. Ended up selling it to upgrade to the bigger brother when get put a 40 in.
