Default PCIe to PCI-X adapter for PIF card

I would like to use our PCI-X PIF card in a new server which only has PCIe slots. Is there an adapter which will convert a PCIe slot to an older PCI-X one?

I have not seen anything that would be able to convert from PCI-X to PCI-E. There are newer PIF USB interface kits that will work with existing or new Harlequin RIPs and allow you to connect to the computer through a standard USB port (which makes it much more universal). You can find out more about these interfaces on the following page:

TIFF Catcher, TIFF Shooter, Raster PrintStation RasterBlaster CTP Interface Cards for Platesetters Xitron Compose HighWater RIP Compatible

What type of RIP or workflow are you currently using?

    Hi ,
I am not aware of any "adapter" to convert the PIF cards from PCI-X to PCI-e.
it sounds like you need to buy a new card.
    regards,
