    Default Ryobi 524 envelopes

Hi. We have a Ryobi 524 which we are trying to run envelopes on. Press feeds them fine, no issues at all...even knocks them on delivery in a pile neatly. But it is KILLING blankets after 10-15 envelopes. The flap is digging in causing a slight sink in the blanket that then causes it not to touch the plate and get the ink/image.

It impressions fine with a bit of extra pressure but its denting the blanket beyond the gap between it and the plate and wont ink the part where the flap is due to the extra thickness.. Any tips? Thanks

Sounds like you are using the wrong kind of blanket. You need a compressible one. Check with your blanket supplier.

There's a product called "Blanket Saver" which you can use with a compressible blanket. It's a gel which you can apply to the image area of the blanket. This gel will set and raise to eliminate the "low spot" problem you are having.
