Is it possible to use oil based varnish in the machine coating tower?

I have never seen oil varnish used in a tower coater. I have only seen it used in a print unit. I would think a tower coater would put far too much varnish on the sheet and it would never dry or would block like mad. I wouldnt do it.

even if you could lay down a thin enough film that would dry id hate to think what the washup would be like. I recommend sticking to coating.
