MacBook Pro and battery life

Just wondering if anyone has tried non-apple batteries and can comment on their performance compared to tha battery that comes with the MacBook Pros. Obviously I'm less than impressed at the battery performance I'm getting...

My MBP's battery life slowly decreased since purchasing it in January. I called up Apple and they sent me out a new battery and it has been great ever since. Maybe you should give that a try? It was free... I think there is a recall on the batteries.
