Retrospect Backup and Leopard OS 10.5 networking error
I am setting up a new iMAC (with 10.5.3). This is the first Leopard workstation for our shop and our current backup software is not backing up this workstation as a backup client.
In Retrospect, on the backup computer, it sees this computer as a client and able to setup the preferences. I added it to a backup script, but when it tries to read this computer's hard drive it goes into "Net Retry" and then errors with a 519 networking error. I am running the latest version of Retrospect 6.1.138 and client 6.1.130. I tried with firewall to allow all incoming connections also. I did a port scan and it says Port 497 is open. I tried EMC's knowledgebase page and had no luck troubleshooting.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
