    Default Mac Consistency

We have 5 macs that are moving into another area. The macs are Mac Pro Intel, we would like to wipe everything off of them, just because they don't have the same versions of software, I think it would be more of pain to sift through each one to figure out what's where?? What is the best way to do this? reformat?? Any ideas.

    Thanks

yes, you could reload the OS completely via the OS disk. here are the simple directions:
How to Reinstall Mac OS X - wikiHow
this is of course if you DONT want anything saved and you want all applications and personal / business data REMOVED.

If they are all the same make/model you can wipe one and clone it to the others. Then install/activate all the software. If you have volume license packs/keys then you could image each workstation off of the "master".

+1 to mattbeals. it would probably be faster than using optical discs too.
