    Default VDP w/Konica 1050's no rip

    Okay, I am currently doing a lot of variable data jobs. I have a customer that has a cover letter with or without backer then a second page that they want nested together. I am currently doing this on our Konica C6500 color machine, this machine has a rip. I do not have a rip for the Konica 1050's that I have, but would like to know if anyone has run this type of job on the 1050's without a rip and how you have managed to do it. This type of work ties up my C6500 when I have 2 1050's that could be doing this a little faster. These jobs are not color work at all. Please reply to my email at dbenfield@graphcom.com.
