    It is the board that connect the RIPS to the 3850 imager with fiber

    Nope, Leo.
    Autologic (Aii) 3850 series machines use NOT AGFA APIS protocol for data exchange between RIP and an imagesetter

    Andy uses Fiber Optic interface.
    other possible I/F are:
    PelBox plus RS232
    PageBus plus RS232
