W2P for book on demand

Hi,
I run a small printshop, and we are looking for a W2P solution for our current jobs, wich are mainly short run books, both in BW and color.

We are looking for a solution so our customers can upload jobs (PDF, MS Word, etc) and get price estimate online.

Any ideas ?

Book production is one of the best features of Tribalsketch. The online design tool can build books in the hundreds of pages with full color designs. The estimating tool can be configured to quote pricing for multi-page products and to calculate them based on your signature size with correct increments. The online FlipProof tool is really great as it is a real page flipping online book for users to view.

PhotoAlbum.com is a site where ladies build super complex books up to 100 pages at sizes to 12" by 12". These designs are loaded with graphics and layering of all types of elements, some of the most complex designs I've ever seen. Designs are managed in the online design tool so that pages are loaded and unloaded as needed to reduce the memory requirements at the user computer.

Saved designs are produced as online Flipbooks where they are combined with either custom cover designs or standard material options. These Flipbooks are checked by the user, they can also be embeded in websites or sent as links. From the page where the Flipbook is shown the site calculates the pricing and offers to add the book to the shopping cart.

Books can be shipped to multiple different shipping addresses in any quantity and multiple different books can be ordered. Once the ordering and shipping is set then the user can checkout with their credit card. After card authorization the orders are transmitted into an automated print production system (not a part of this software) via our PrintTalk/JDF interface. The printing system then sends order acknowledgment and acceptance messages and final a shipping notice with tracking info.

If any order fails then the user is notified and the credit card charge is automatically voided. Once the final shipping notice is received then the credit card charge is automatically captured and the user notified of the tracking info.

Orders can be placed worldwide. Settings are in place for establishing shipping methods and pricing for any country - or groups of countries.

The system produces high quality print ready PDF files from original designs and print orders rarely (possibly even never) fail at the printing system.
