    Default Seiko H104S

We have just recieved the new Seiko Colorpainter H104S. But we have a bit of problems keeping the media flat on the platen. We have tried vinyls papers and banners. Only heavy banners 100" is flat. Does anybody have any recomendations on heater settings ect. for this printer.

    Thanks in advance

Hello, Ive found that the best temps are rear 40, platen 35-40 and between 50 and 60 on the output side of the printer. The only time that I had issues with head strike was with wallpaper and for that I raised the head height to 2mm and redid the bidi's for that particular media.

    SEIKO Colopainter H74 S

sorry off topic .... but I'm having problems with Intermittent faults in the printing of Magenta (m2 and m7), the cleanup after the nozzle check is ok.
    Why?
was replaced the print head m2 (12/2010) and M7 in (06/2011) ... I print about 500 m2 per month. and M2 is now failing again. why?

    (sorry, google translator)

its definitely NOT a media related issue
