Novajet 750 rip

Hello All
We have a novajet 750 which is working fine but getting files to it has been a real struggle.
The best prints are still from the encad printer driver but it wont do anything large.
At the moment I have onyx productionhouse which I have spent hours on trying to get something even close to acceptable out of it. it is version 7.02 which I can't update (a problem with the key) . All the prints are washed out. Vector art even worse. And the spot colors, forget about it. I've gone through every thing I can find on how to set this thing up from onyx, from encad and this forum and still no luck. I would like to figure this thing out. Update the rip part of it somehow. Or find something else that will work better. Our shop is small and our work is simple. A few posters and banners is all we do with it. Is there a simple, old, inexpensive, just point click print rip that will work for this machine.
