HP Z6100ps "leaking" Cyan onto paper/vinyl
When we first purchased our Z6100ps it seemed to "leak" cyan from the printhead to the paper in streaks. It first would leave a small dab in the end margin and proceeded to get worse as we tried more prints. It fixed itself for a while if we aligned printheads & cleaned them. We spent a long time on the phone with HP for them to tell us to up the quality setting on the printer. We did and that worked. Now, a year later and we have the same problem. The quality setting is on best. This happens w/ HP Everyday Satin Photo & HP Colorfast adhesive using HP's profile settings. Could it be a printhead this time? I will call HP, but wondering if anyone else has any ideas how to fix it?
Also, any suggestions on a substrate similar to the HP Colorfast adhesive vinyl, but in a gloss finish?
