Default Please help me diagnose my Epson 9800 problem

    Hi,

My 9800 has been acting up recently. A series of black and white prints came out of the printer with a cyan hue about 2 months ago.

I suspected a clog was to blame and have followed the advice of some in this forum and applied windex to the pad that the print head sits on and run a few power cleans and SS cleans. All to no avail.

Please see images attached of the nozzel check print out the printer gave me this morning along with a scan of a color print that just came out of the printer paired with the original digital file.

Any help is very much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Matt

If you've done a few power cleans and some of colors gone completely - blame on ink line/pipe cracked.
I'll not be surprised if you find some ink mess under the covers.

Thanks for the quick response Vlad!

Any idea what the protocol is for fixing a cracked line?

    Best,

    Matt
