    Default Epson 9880 ink question

We recently found some expired ink cartridges for our Epson 9880.
I was curious if these should be trashed or if "expired" ink is ok to use?

Great question. I have not personally used expired ink cartridges for a Epson 9880 but I have used expired cartridges. Epson recommends that ink be used prior to the expiration date and within 6 months of opening I guess for the purpose of not accepting responsibly.
But for most purposes, expired inks will work fine. However, because of this expensive machine where color is crucial, I'd stick to unexpired inks for the safety of the machine and to keep your printing business going strong.

Shake cartridge, Put the expired ink. Calibrate or re-linearize your rip and don't worry.
